Unit 7- task 7B questionaire

To collect the data for my questionnaire i compiled a series of detailed questions and went around the class collecting the various answers from my classmates.

I tasked my class mates with the job of answering five questions which were most popular game consoles, their most popular game,  what radio station people listened to most, which social networking site people use/ how many contacts they have on it.

I recorded this information using Microsoft excel on a spreadsheet that had been designed already, I placed each question at the top of the questionnaire in separate columns though down the side in the columns I put the numbers 1-25 as this is the number of pupils in my class.

As planned I answered each of the questions in their separate columns keeping separate from each pupil I then put the data in by using a Y to represent a tick and wrote there qualitative questions in longer columns which took longer.

I then collated this data by using data sort, for specific information I needed to answer the six questions. The quantitative data, was easy to count up, however the qualitative data took much longer.

Once I finished compiling all the answers onto my questionnaire I put into order of males and females I completed my conclusion, were-by i managed to answer wether boys and girls prefer different games consoles and why.
